Leisure Classes/Activities
Tennis: There are four lighted tennis courts located behind Borough Hall. You must have a Ringwood Tennis Membership. Membership can be purchased at CommunityPass.
Basketball: Jenkins Park located in Skyline Lakes is a full sized basketball court with a new surface and hoops. Stonetown is also home to a full sized basketball court. Pioneer Park/Painted Forest was resurfaced with new hoops installed in 2015.
Ringwood State Park includes Ringwood Manor, Skylands Manor and Sheppard Pond.
Bocci courts are located behind Borough Hall.

Dog Park
To register your dog(s) - 2 dog maximum per household, fill out the application packet, provide copies of required documentation and $25 household fee (made payable to the Borough of Ringwood) to Borough of Ringwood, Parks & Recreation Department, 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, NJ 07456. You may also bring all your documentation and fee to Borough Hall.
Hiking
Full of historical history dating back to the founding of the iron industry in Ringwood, the Ringwood Manor serves as a museum and state park. The Manor provides a series of events and tours to entertain those with a thirst for history. It is open to the public and is a central part of the Ringwood State Park.
The Skylands Manor is home to the New Jersey Botanical Gardens and boasts beautiful grounds and accommodations. Plenty of events are held for the public and the Manor also plays host to weddings and special events. Like the Ringwood Manor, the Skylands Manor is awash with history and offers tours to the public.
Ringwood State Park includes four principal areas; Ringwood Manor, Skylands Manor, Sheppard Pond and Bear Swamp Lake. The grounds include wild land and landscaped gardens. Activities include hiking, boating, swimming, picnicking, and more. Beautiful and accessible at any time of year, Ringwood State Park is a little slice of outdoor heaven right in our backyard.
Ringwood Public Library
The Ringwood Public Library offers programming for toddlers through seniors in addition to being a great public resource. Looking to release some pent up energy? A large playground is also available at the library. Visit the website here for more information.
