Scott Conley, Fire Official  (973) 475-7132; sconley@ringwoodnj.net

Office Hours:  Wednesdays & Thursdays from 8:30am - 4:30pm

Inspections are performed by the Borough's Fire Official every Wednesday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Certificates are issued on site at the time of inspection, and are valid for six (6) months or until another change in occupancy occurs, whichever comes first.

STEP 1:   CLICK HERE for the application, paying close attention to the accompanying instructions regarding the proper type and placement of the required devices.

STEP 2:    Mail or bring your application to the Building Department, along with the applicable fee in exact cash or check payable to Borough of Ringwood.

TIP: We suggest that you not wait until close to the closing to schedule the inspection – if the inspection fails, you will need to reapply for the next available inspection date, and consequently, the closing may be delayed.
