PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Borough of Ringwood has a need to award a contract for the position Special Labor Counsel for 2019 calendar year and, therefore, is requesting proposals for the award of such a contract through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq.

All those interested in submitting proposals should review the request for proposals and submit two (2) copies of all documentation requested and may obtain same through the Municipal Clerk of the Borough of Ringwood located at the Municipal Building, 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey 07456 or via our website www.ringwoodnj.net - Important Links – Bids & RFPs.

Please be further advised that two (2) copies all proposals must be submitted to the Municipal Clerk of the Borough of Ringwood at the Ringwood Municipal Building on or before January 10, 2019 at 10:00 am.

Labor Counsel: Request for Proposal

 

 

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Ringwood, for ELECTRICAL WORK AT BOROUGH FACILITIES, Contract No. 2019-101 and will be opened and read in public at Ringwood Borough Hall, 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM prevailing time.

This contract includes the furnishing and delivery of the following equipment and/or materials as specified:

            ELECTRICAL WORK FOR THE FOLLOWING PERIODS: 

  • THREE (3) YEARS FROM JANUARY 1, 2019 TO DECEMBER 31, 2021

Specifications and forms of bid for this contract have been filed in the office of said BOROUGH CLERK at 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey and may be inspected by prospective bidders during regular business hours.  Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Specifications and forms of bid at the cost of preparation thereof, $30.00, non-refundable; plus $5.00 postage and handling, if mailed.

Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Ringwood. 

The signed Proposal forms must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above.  The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award.

All bidders are required to comply with the requirements (Affirmative Action Regulations of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and to N.J.A.C. 17:27, as amended and supplemented from time to time.  In addition, all bidders must have a valid Public Work Contractor’s Certificate and must pay the prevailing wage rate as determined by the “New Jersey Wage Act, Chapter 150, of the Laws of 1963”, extension effective July 1974. 

The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Borough of Ringwood, make the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.

 

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Borough of Ringwood, for MAINTENANCE OF MUNICIPAL LAWNS AND FIELDS, Contract No. 2019-102 and will be opened and read in public at Ringwood Borough Hall, 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am prevailing time.

This contract includes the furnishing and delivery of the following equipment and/or materials as specified:

LAWN AND FIELD MOWING AND TRIMMING SERVICES SPECIFIED 
  • SEVEN (7) MONTHS FROM WEEK OF APRIL 15, 2019 THROUGH WEEK OF NOVEMBER 15, 2019

    or

  • THIRTY ONE (31) MONTHS FROM WEEK OF APRIL 15, 2019 THROUGH WEEK OF NOVEMBER 15, 2021 

Specifications and forms of bid for this contract have been filed in the office of said BOROUGH CLERK at 60 Margaret King Avenue, Ringwood, New Jersey and may be inspected by prospective bidders during regular business hours.  Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Specifications and forms of bid at the cost of preparation thereof, $30.00, non-refundable; plus $5.00 postage and handling, if mailed.

Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Ringwood, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier’s Check drawn to the order of the Borough of Ringwood in the amount of $2,500.00, or a bid bond in the amount of $2,500.00, as a bid security.

The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place and on or before the hour named above.  The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security.  Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders.  All other bid securities will be returned within three working days after awarding and signing of the contract, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted.
