Ringwood's Reverse 911 System is Changing on August 1, 2023

The switch to Smart911 allows residents to receive alerts via phone, text and email, and answer questions (if they choose to do so) that will give Ringwood officials critical information during emergency situations.

Individuals who were previously signed up for Swift911 will be automatically enrolled in Smart911 but are encouraged to sign up to Smart911 to add additional and updated information to the new platform to ensure accuracy.

Residents and travelers to Ringwood who were not previously signed up for Swift911 should sign up for free at www.smart911.com to receive timely and actionable emergency alerts via email, text, or voice message. They can also identify when and how they are alerted and communicated with before, during, and after emergencies.
