A few facts concerning the Ringwood Industrial Park and other Commercial Areas throughout the Borough:
Ringwood is located within Passaic County bordering on Orange county, New York and Bergen County, New Jersey.
The locations of the Ringwood Industrial Park and Ringwood Commercial areas have access to many major highways in North Jersey. Sloatsburg Road leads to Route 17 and the Routes 287/87. Skyline Drive provides access to Routes 4, 208, and 287. Greenwood Lake Turnpike accesses Route 23 and Route 46.
There are numerous trucking firms that service this area on a daily basis. Ringwood's access to major highways allows deliveries to be easily expedited. There is a significant labor source in the immediate area of both professional and skilled workers. The County of Passaic also offers numerous ride-share programs providing labor sources from all over Passaic County.
In addition, the Work Force Investment Board of Passaic County will provide the necessary employee training in various skills as required by the employer. This is done as a cooperative effort between the federal government, county services and local employers.
Low interest rate funding is available for qualified applicants through the Ringwood Economic Development Commission to assist in developing your project. In addition, there are various loan programs available through the State of New Jersey and Passaic County.
Utility Service to the industrial and commercial areas is as follows:
- Electric - Orange & Rockland Electric Company
- Natural Gas - Public Service Electric & Gas Company
- Water - Ringwood Water Department
- Trash removal is on a weekly basis.
- Septic or Treatment Plants are required for waste removal.
